Miu Miu’s Fall 2018 show was one to watch. Held in the Perret building in Paris, the halls looked somewhat like a giant print and copy store with black and white posters hung from the ceiling. Every white sheet displayed an illustration of a female face or body crossed with a letter of the alphabet. These alphabets are called Miu Miu’s ‘Type’, and you can have a piece of it.
This alphabet was created by M/M Paris and Miuccia Prada for a lasting impression, almost as if to tease us with the capsule collection. Now that it’s here, Type has been stamped across Miu Miu’s latest white staples. The Miu Miu Type capsule collection comprises of white poplin shirts, cotton hoodies and track pants patched with one, two or three letters, all drawing on the ‘MIU’ of the Miu Miu name. Meanwhile, classic white cotton T-shirts spell out ‘MIU MIU’ for the complete look.
To stamp your own style on the collection, the brand is giving fashionistas the chance to personalise a simple white shirt and t-shirt with a single letter of their choice. Want to get your hands on this season’s cool new piece? You’ll have to make your way to Miu Miu ION Orchard in Singapore from the 14th of September 2018.
