The most anticipated collaboration of the year is finally happening—Dior Men x Jordan Brand. Artistic Director Kim Jones has partnered up with Jordan Brand to unveil the limited edition Air Jordan 1 High OG Dior Sneaker.
Made in Italy and edge-painted by hand, the silhouette pays tribute to Dior’s excellence and savoir-faire in leather goods while drawing inspiration from both brands’ rich heritage. The iconic swoosh adorning these objects of desire is updated with the Dior Oblique motif and showcases the blending of high-end streetwear and luxury fashion.
An exclusive collection of ready-to-wear and accessories signed Air Dior—especially shot and staged starring rapper Travis Scott—now completes this original collaboration with the basketball culture brand. Through a palette of gentle shades, from navy blue to white with the iconic Dior gray—the founding couturier’s favorite colour—these pieces bring together the house’s exceptional tailoring expertise with a 1980s American sportswear feel inspired by the legendary Michael Jordan.
The collection balances timeless silhouettes from the Jordan and Dior vaults while bringing new life to classic sports styles. The Air Dior collection will be available at a selection of Dior stores and pop-ups starting April 2020.
