The architectural concept for the magnificent new store was developed for Bvlgari by world-renowned architect Peter Marino. The store concept borrows inspiration from the epic golden years of the 1930s, through the introduction of distinctive Art Déco elements seen in the spectacular skydome and other aspects of the internal architecture. Fine decorative details featured throughout also take inspiration from Bvlgari pieces created during the Art Déco period itself, which tells a story of the rich heritage and unique craftsmanship of the brand.
Visiting the store feels like taking a stroll through central Rome. Bvlgari is Rome, defined by sunlight, marble and ancient buildings. These features are incorporated into the design of the flagship store, adding a distinct Italian flair to its beauty and appeal. The Bvlgari store embodies pure Roman style through its visage. Offering a timeless yet contemporary vision of Rome, it will endure in the warmth of the Eternal City, a perfectly polished jewel in Shanghai’s crown.
