As most major events are cancelling on us this year due to the coronavirus outbreak, brands and organisers are quickly adapting to this new turn of events by bringing their latest launches and world-class events to us.
Maison Cartier is wasting no time and is launching a new digital platform Cartier Watchmaking Encounters on April 25. Here’s where you’ll find its 2020 watchmaking novelties, presented through the notion of unexpected encounters between shapes and ideas. An idea nurtured by the Maison, the interaction is a startling expression made possible through its watchmaking creations.
“In the current context, we believe it is important to preserve our interactions with all our clients around the world through various touchpoints, and thus be able to offer them an experience entirely dedicated to our Maison’s watchmaking creations,” says Arnaud Carrez, Marketing and Communication Director at Cartier International.
The launch of Cartier Watchmaking Encounters is fully integrated in this approach, he adds. “By discovering this new platform, our clients will be invited to explore our creations, and our creations, and our services, and on a broader level, the watchmaking spirit of Cartier.”
First, you will discover a new reinterpretation of Pasha which is this year’s watchmaking statement for the Maison. It’s also Cartier’s cult watch since it was brought to life in 1985. Pasha is outstanding in every way, from its design and the way it has shifted the parametres of traditional watchmaking.
Also see the unveiling of a new feminine watch, Maillon, which is hailed as a true jewel with matchless elegance. There’s also Santos XL, the augmented version of the model was presented last year at SIHH in Geneva. The Maison has created an exclusive set of engraved and limited Santos- Dumont, a Tank Asymétrique as part of the Cartier Privé collection, which will have a dedicated section on the website.
