In 2020, Mademoiselle Chanel and the J12 watch embraced each other once again in a limited edition of 555 pieces in black or white.
The first unexpected encounter in 2017 resulted in a playful take on Chanel’s ceramic classic, in which an illustration of Mademoiselle Chanel was printed on a sapphire glass plate, upon a black or white lacquered dial with hours and minutes indicated by her animated hands.
In this reunion, the aptly named Mademoiselle J12 Acte II sports an 18k white gold and enamel Mademoiselle pendant set with one brilliant-cut diamond dancing freely to the rhythm of the wearer’s movement. On this whimsical piece boasting 12 baguette-cut diamonds as hour markers, further accentuated by an 18k white gold and baguette pattern sapphire fixed bezel, Chanel offers the choice of which the 33mm 18k white gold case is paired with either white high-resistant ceramic with lacquered
dial or black high-resistant ceramic with lacquered dial.
Question is, which one would you pick for yourself?
