Emirates, the flagship airline of the UAE, has recently completed a two-year, $US11 million makeover of its business class lounge at the Dubai International Airport.
With the facelift comes a range of posh new features over a massive 10,000 square feet of floor space – a Voss-branded health hub, on-site chefs, a renovated salon/spa with new hair and beauty treatments, more arcade games in the children’s play area and, the add-on that’s caught our eye, a Moët & Chandon Champagne lounge.
Gourmet food options include such dishes as Scottish smoked salmon and blanched broccoli florets, tossed with Brazilian nut oil, and smoked duck on sushi rice. For those in need of a pick-me-up, coffee comes courtesy of a Costa Coffee cafe.
Now able to accommodate 1,500 customers, the lounge also offers complimentary Wi-Fi, as well as complimentary food and bar service for business- and first-class flyers and Emirates Skywards platinum, gold and silver members.
Have a look at the slick new lounge – and plan your trips accordingly.
