Situated just beside the upcoming waterfront urban development known as Suhe Creek, the new Bvlgari Hotel Shanghai represents as the sixth global jewel of the Roman luxury brand’s hospitality collection; while three new Bvlgari Hotels are slated to open in Moscow, Paris and Tokyo before 2022.

Surrounded by a lush, Italian-style garden, this luxurious property resides in a 48-floor tower located adjacent to the historic Chamber of Commerce Shanghai Building. Originally built in 1916, this statuesque Neoclassical Renaissance landmark was restored to its former glory by the Italian architectural firm, Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel.

Inside the hotel, guests can experience the comfort of modern Italian furnishings with specially curated pieces custom made by revered Italian brands such as Maxalto, Flos, B&B and Flexform. The hotel houses up to 82 guest rooms including 19 luxurious, spacious suites which occupy the eight topmost floors of the tower while the lower floors will serve as The Bulgari Residences.

As for the crown jewel of this magnificent property, it would have to be the palatial Bvlgari Suite. Located at the very top of the tower, this 400 square metre space offers sweeping views of the Shanghai cityscape and can only be accessed via a private lift. An adjoining suite located just beside the suite can also be procured to expand the space into a 570 square metre three-bedroom residence.
