Hublot collaborates with artist Marc Ferrero on new Big Bang timepiece

For its most recent Hublot Loves Art collaboration, the luxury Swiss watch manufacturer has teamed up with French contemporary artist Marc Ferrero to reveal a limited edition Big Bang One Click timepiece that pays tribute to heroines of the 21st century. Inspired by comics, pop culture and his travels, the artist is best known for his distinctive “Storytelling Art” series that fuses urban feminine silhouettes with 1980s comic aesthetics.

Art connoisseurs familiar with Ferrero’s iconic lipstick emblem will be especially pleased by this capsule collection comprising the One Click Marc Ferrero Steel Red and One Click Marc Ferrero Steel Turquoise which is limited to just 50 pieces per tone.

A closer inspection of the lacquered dial showcases a femme fatale donning dark shades while applying lipstick, accompanied by smaller faces strategically placed to resemble the character’s flowing tresses. Framing this enigmatic portrait is the bezel decorated with sparkling  stones in either blue topaz or red spinel.

Powered by the Caliber Hublot HUB1710 self-winding movement, other additional details worth nothing about this luxury timepiece include the 39mm case in satin-finished and polished stainless steel which fits even the most daintiest of wrists. Paired with a distinctive laser-cut strap in calfskin leather, these straps can also be exchanged using the One Click patented functioning system.
