October brings with it many an unexpected turn, but hey, we’ve got to eat. On top of a handful of new establishments like pizzerias and a French bistro, this month we’re also seeing afternoon tea sets for Pink October and a buffet. Have your day sorted with these plans for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur is collaborating with local jewellery brand, Bowerhaus, for an afternoon tea menu and Pink Courage Pin. The pastry team headed by Chef Roberto Hernandez has curated a menu consisting of Hot Smoked Salmon Napoleon with Chive Cream Cheese and Crepe and Parmesan Asparagus, Raspberry Vanilla Tart and more. Sales will benefit the Breast Cancer Welfare Association Malaysia (BCWA). You can also have the tea set ordered online and delivered to your doorstep through the link below.
The Pink Afternoon Tea set is available from 1 to 31 October. Each Pink Courage Pin is priced at RM20.

Kam’s Roast in Hong Kong was the Michelin Star from 2015 to 2020 and has therefore established itself as a household name for roast meats. Kuala Lumpur now has its own outlet opened on 8 October, marking the occasion with a promotion for the famous Roasted Duck at RM158++. Other signature dishes include the ‘Toro’ Char Siumade with premium pork belly, Wonton Noodles, and Kam’s Red Bean Soup with Aged Orange Peel, a sweet and nutritious dessert.
The restaurant’s opening hours during the CMCO period are from 11am-9pm daily.

Think room service meets buffet meets the ambience of a restaurant. EQ’s Nipah is hosting the Unlimited Servings special where patrons can order as much as they want off the menu and have it served to the table. The menu consists of local and international delicious including satay, beef rendang, braised beef in black bean sauce and for dessert, cheesecake, brownies, and more.
Unlimited Servings at Nipah is available daily from 6pm-9.30pm and on Sundays from 12pm-3pm and 6pm-9.30pm. RM88 per adult while children aged 6 to 12 dine at 50% off.
