Bite-sized travel via a culinary world tour at The Starhill Dining.
A good way to keep your lunches and dinners fresh, is to throw in a mix of new places and dishes to try out regularly. A better way, is to know what’s in season — and we’re here to help with that. Save your favourite restaurants on GrabFood for another month, because The Starhill Dining has been working on a whole new offering menu to celebrate the start of spring. Remember, advanced reservations are required for these culinary events:
#1 Thai soul food
Chef Rasikan has just joined the tastemakers at Shook!, where she cooks all sorts of Southern Thai soul food you’ll love. The Chef once worked at Malaysia’s own Pangkor Laut Resort, and she used to oversee the food and beverage operations for the Tamaring Hills group in Singapore. At The Starhill Dining, Chef Rasikan introduces recipes from Pak Tai at The Ritz-Carlton in Koh Samui, which promises to be a chilli-spiked feast.
Dining-in: Daily for lunch and dinner from 11.30am to 2.30pm and 6pm to 10.30pm.
#2 Hong Kong dim sum
Dim sum for Sunday brunch hits just right. Luk Yu Tea House’s Chef Leong, Chiu Chow’s Chef Alex Au, and Dim Sum Chef Jun are proud to bring diners a generous variety of dim sum, inspired by the Hong Kong-style, Cantonese classic, and traditional Chiu Chow specialities. Head over to The Starhill Dining for a taste.
Dining-in: Daily from 11.30am to 10.30pm.
#4 Authentic Hokkaido seafood
It’s still ski season in Niseko, but while we know it’s impossible to travel right now, we can devour fresh Hokkaido seafood. The cuisine now served at Yukibana at Shook!, is inspired by the same Yukibana at Higashiyama Niseko Village, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve. Chef Machi, who has just joined the Shook! team, delivers a seasonal omakase-style dinner; each artistic course a celebration of Japan’s world-famous seafood.
Dining-in: Tuesday to Sunday for lunch from 11.30am to 2.30pm (lunch bowls), and for dinner from 6pm to 10.30pm (omakase and sushi).
#5 New York, New York afternoon tea
Springtime in the Big Apple is a beautiful season, made extra special with classic city-esque meals that suggest New York has its own cuisine. The Alchemy at Shook! has a New afternoon tea curation with savouries, sandwiches and desserts. Expect New York vibes when you dine-in the The Alchemy, and an elegant spread nonetheless with home deliveries and takeaway.
