It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas. While the holiday season is mostly known for being a time of gifts and gifting, what also makes it the most wonderful time of year are the precious moments spent bonding with your nearest and dearest loved ones — which usually involves digging into a massive Christmas feast. As a homage to this meaningful Christmas tradition, The Ritz-Carlton Kuala Lumpur has decided to pull out all the stops this year by introducing a bevy of merry dining experiences that will have you feeling festive in no time.

If you intend to spend Christmas Eve in the city, there’s simply no better place to be than by indulging in the latest culinary creations at The Library restaurant, a newly-introduced dining concept introduced by Executive Chef Wai who was inspired by a coffee-table book starring Michelin-starred Austrian chef Johann Lafer. Available only on December 24 from 7 to 11pm, diners will have choice between three or four courses featuring Chef Wai’s latest festive creations. Delectable dishes worth waiting for include sea urchin served with a refreshingly-light cauliflower mousseline; creamy mushroom potage made from earthy wild mushrooms; a flavourful dish of tender poulet de bresse (Bresse chicken); and delicate turbot served with sea urchin. For a sweet ending, be sure to sink your teeth into the mascarpone and chocolate dessert infused with the world’s most popular coffee liquor, Kahlua.
