So you’re big on Japanese cuisine, you’ve got a refined palette and not to mention, insatiable (and unapologetic) appetite for the finer things in life. Naturally, you’re no stranger to Nobu Kuala Lumpur, let alone the Nobu brand worldwide.
But if you’re looking for another reason to make a reservation at our city’s Nobu, we have a good one for you. Or rather, ten. Book a table this July and tuck into a very special month-long-only menu: ten new “Nobu-style” sushi & sashimi dishes.
The masters of Japanese fine-dining will be celebrating Chef Nobu Matsuhia’s renowned Peruvian-Japanese flavours with the classics, albeit with a twist. Chef Nobu explains, “When I moved to Peru and saw a lot of different ingredients like lemons, garlic, cilantro, onions, I started making Japanese dishes with Peruvian ingredients.”
And that, is what Chef Nobu calls the very exclusive, world-famous, “Nobu style”.
Inspired by Chef Nobu’s unique take on Japanese cuisine, Nobu Kuala Lumpur’s Executive Chef Philip Leong is presenting his own Nobu-style sushi and sashimi dishes with touches of Peruvian influence such as jalapeño pepper and cured ceviche.
Our top picks off the menu: The Whitefish and Uni New-Style Dry Miso, Baby Tiger Shrimp Ceviche, and Tuna Tempura Roll with Yuzu Miso Sauce. Then again, we’d probably inhale the Scallop Tiradito in a second too.
The menu starts at RM50.
