Christmas is the word just hanging off everyone’s lips now – after all, who doesn’t enjoy a day of gift giving? But of course, festivity and good cheer are always accompanied with great food and drink – and that’s where Nobu comes in. The globally recognised Japanese restaurant chain spanning five continents is offering Malaysian patrons a special set of Christmas lunch and dinner menus, with a unique style of Japanese-Peruvian dishes crafted by Executive Chef Phillip Leong and his team.
On the eve of Christmas, as well as on the 25th itself, Nobu Kuala Lumpur has a seven-course dinner up on offer with an alluring spread of specially crafted dishes, which feature mouth-watering delicacies such as poached lobster with crispy watercress, Kobe beef with tamari pepper sauce, with the delectable finish of a Christmas Forest dessert comprising black Goma and green tea olive oil sponge, tempura Gen-Mai Cha ice cream, plus berry crumble.
Those who dine at Nobu Kuala Lumpur for dinner during Christmas will also be treated to the exclusive sight of a tuna filleting and dismantling show by sushi chef Take-san.
There is also a lunch menu offering a five-course omakase set with dishes adapted from the seven-course dinner menu. It will be available during regular lunch hours (12pm – 2pm) on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The regular omakase lunch, Matsuhisa bento and select a la carte dishes are also up for order. The high tea service along with other lunch set menus are, however, unavailable during this time.
