The cult beauty brand, which was founded by the makeup mogul Pat McGrath, worked with fashion photographer and director Steven Meisel on the campaign. The shoot stars a raft of new faces, including influencer Sonjdra Deluxe, actor and model Damian Hurley, drag queen Violet Chachki and model Shanelle Nyasiase.
“To realise a campaign with Steven Meisel is a monumental moment — and an incredible visual culmination of my body of work,” said McGrath in a statement. “To have Meisel’s fierce and disruptive aesthetic, eye for fresh talent, and prolific, unparalleled approach to beauty is a dream come true.”
The campaign showcases a series of bold hair and makeup looks, that focus on individuality, but all have one thing in common: Flawless skin.
Pat McGrath Labs first unveiled ‘Sublime Perfection: The System’ in June, and it will go on sale on 26 July 2019. The collection comprises a primer, which is infused with hydrating hyaluronic acid for a smoothing, skin-refining effect. Then comes the foundation, which is available in 36 different shades ranging from light to dark and promises to nourish and hydrate the skin, as well as help fight the formation of wrinkles. A setting powder, which will come in five different hues, blurs out fine lines and imperfections, completing the series.
