Like an unseen accessory, a fragrance can intimately embody its wearer.
A single spritz has the immense power to transform the mood and transport the mind. As the sun sets on the year, there’s no better time than the present to update your signature scent with these newest fragrances of the season.
Acqua Di Parma Colonia Futura
Acqua Di Parma welcomes a new scent into its Colonie collection. The Colonia Futura is an embodiment of the Italian maison’s dedication to sustainability, as it features 99 per cent natural-origin ingredients bottled in eco-friendly packaging and a recycled plastic cap. The invigorating scent opens with vetiver and a citrus blend of bergamot, lemon and grapefruit magnified by pink pepper. A sweet fougères heart is then revealed, with a trailing lavender finish.
Hermès L’Ombre des Merveilles
The newest scent from Hermès is the fifth perfume of the Eau des Merveilles collection. Woody and oriental, the L’Ombre des Merveilles is described as chiaroscuro – an Italian art term that refers to contrasting light and shade to create dimension. The scent is an audacious reflection of that with just three primary notes. It opens with a whisper of sensual tonka bean that mingles with swirls of incense. Deep, warm notes of black tea illuminate the two, resulting in an intensely radiant yet spicy scent. Like its predecessors, the signature design was created by the late Serge Mansau. Flat on one side and rounded on the other, it resembles a star-spangled magnifying glass finished with a spray nozzle engraved with the Hermès saddle nail seal.

Serge Lutens Fils De Joie
Fils De Joie translates to ‘Child of Joy’ — it is essentially a bottled incarnation of a child’s unrestrained laughter. Serge Lutens first evokes this with radiant night-blooming jasmine. Spicy, nocturnal jasmine fades into a honey accord with nuances of sweet tobacco, and smooth ylang ylang. A warm musk rounds off the scent with a familiar intimacy.
