Along with museums around the world that are going online, our local museums are also getting creative with digital exhibitions, tours and programmes during this period.
The ArtScience Museum has launched ArtScience at Home – a new online programme of education activities such as guided exhibition tours and workshops, as well as its flagship public programmes like ArtScience Late, Conversations and ArtScience on Screen.
The initiative launches with the museum’s first online conference, Feeling the Future. Taking place on alternate Tuesdays, the online talks will examine the human capacity to imagine new futures in a world where uncertainty and anxiety are prevalent — a topic more relevant than ever in this pandemic.
Online audiences can also expect intimate, living room performances from musicians and performing artists in ArtScience Late, virtual exhibition tours of 2219: Futures Imagined and FUTURE WORLD: Where Art Meets Science, family-friendly online workshops and much more.
