After nearly a year of social restrictions, old friends and new acquaintances finally had the opportunity to catch up with one another over an intimate reunion feast at the highly anticipated Chinese New Year Ladies Luncheon.
Hosted annually by society stalwart and Million Lighting COO Nana Au-Chua, the luncheon this year took the format of small groups of eight across 14 separate days at the private dining rooms of Empress at the Asian Civilisations Museum and Imperial Treasure Fine Teochew Cuisine at ION Orchard. Nearly 100 ladies in total were invited for the celebrations, which took place from late January to mid-February. This year, the guests enjoyed a lohei, followed by scrumptious signature dishes. Ever the perfect hostess, Nana had personally seen to the luncheons’ gorgeous floral arrangements and also commissioned the making of an adorable Year of the Ox plush toy for every guest.
