Award-winning Singaporean pastry chef Janice Wong shares her edible chocolate recipe.
In March, Bottega Veneta launched a virtual residency series where a muse, collaborator or talent take over the newly-created mini-site showing off works that inspire them, be it film, music or art.
Personalities featured so far included Bottega Veneta’s creative director Daniel Lee, photographer and filmmaker Tyrone Lebon, Director of Development at Sadler’s Wells Theatre Phoebe Reith, artist Walter Pfeiffer as well as stylist, Marie Chaix.
On 10 May, Singaporean pastry chef Janice Wong took over the residency and showed off her pastry making skills as well as shared her recipes to a worldwide audience.
The multi-award winning pastry chef honed her skills with Thomas Keller and Grant Achatz, virtuoso Spanish chocolatier Oriol Balaguer, and prodigious French pastry chef Pierre Hermé. In 2013 and 2014, Shee was named Asia’s Best Pastry Chef by San Pellegrino Asia’s 50 Best. She also won the title of Pastry Chef of the Year from the World Gourmet Summit Awards in 2011, 2013 and 2015.
