The son of property developer Douglas Ong and Fanty Soenardy loves his Lego — it helps him to exercise his creativity and his room is filled with them. His favourite is the Pirate of Caribbean set, which he obtained during his first visit to London in 2011.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
A property developer, just like my dad.
If you could have one superpower, what would it be and why?
To be a healer so that I can help cure any kind of disease or wound.
Which three words describe you best?
Supportive, kind and honest.
If you could be anyone in the world for one day, who would you be and why?
President Barack Obama because he is the only black person that has ever been president of America.
If you could time-travel, where would you go?
The years when I was in kindergarten so that I can play.
Name one thing that scares you.
What makes you happy?
Will you get married? If yes, do you already know to whom?
Yes. I don’t know yet but I will soon find the right lady.
What’s the toughest thing about being a kid?
Having to study for the PSLEs.
What is the coolest thing about your mum and dad?
My dad took my family to US on a private jet and my mother can solve all the problems in the house because she knows all the answers.
