We’re Gonna Party Like It’s Our Birthday!

Imagine being on set 60 times to photograph 60 people when all you have to work with are the same 24 hours in a seven-day week and a one-month print cycle. Despite the deadline-related anxiety, this issue was absolutely gratifying and meaningful. Made all the more so because we managed to catch up with 60 friends and also bring to life the stories of a further 40 (whose photographs were thankfully pre-shot). All their stories are woven throughout the magazine. As an anniversary issue, this is as much a big-bang celebration as it is a statement our DNA; one that sets the tone for the next 11 months to come.
