Ranked 64th among the World's Most Powerful Women by Forbes, Ho Ching has headed Singapore's state investment agency Temasek Holdings since 2004 and played a key role in raising its global profile and portfolio. Temasek ended its financial year in March 2013 with a record net portfolio value of $215 billion, representing a tripling in value over the last decade. It also posted a group net profit of $11 billion. Under Ho's stewardship, the agency retained its Standard & Poor's and Moody's ratings of AAA and Aaa, making 2013 its 10th year as a triple-A credit since its inaugural rating in 2004. Among its significant investments in 2013, Temasek and China's CITIC Capital formed a consortium to buy the US-listed Chinese software and IT firm Asiainfo-Linkage Inc for S$1.14 billion. In 2013, she was also ranked number nine on the Public Investor 100 ranking compiled by the Sovereign Wealth Fund Institute. Ho is married to Singapore's third Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, making her one of the most active first ladies in the world.
