Last May, our cover girl Ankiti Bose shared how driven she is to make a difference. The 28-year-old co-founder and CEO of local-based, fashion tech platform Zilingo, spoke about how she saw it her mission to empower women and small businesses. Now she is once again giving back to society by way of supplying FDA-approved personal protection equipment (PPE) for healthcare professionals.

We are committed to scaling our capacity as much further as we can in the coming weeks. Requesting you all to please help us get this to the frontline of healthcare workers across the globe and connect us further into networks that need PPE the most in this difficult time. Reach out at email@example.com if you can help. Thank you, Ankiti
On a post published on her Linkedin and Instagram profile, she describes how Zilingo has been working hard in this “unprecedented crisis”, adding that it will “step up and help our fearless healthcare professionals fight COVID-19“.
“Zilingo is able to supply for stocks of FDA approved grade PPE such as Nitrile gloves, N95, kn95 and surgical masks, single use gowns and medical grade protective suits for hospitals across India, Indonesia and Singapore,” she continues. These can be delivered worldwide. Its current capacity stands at “up to 1 million units per day of near-ready stocks of N95 and surgical masks and gowns”.
Concluding her announcement, she requests help to be connected to the respective hospitals, NGOs, clinics and associations and declares that “Zilingo is committed to the objective of flattening the curve.”
