It celebrated the opening of a brand new showroom on Friday. And with that, Maserati marked the appointment of a new authorised importer and distributor in Singapore. Now, the Italian car marque will be under the distributorship of Tridente Automobili.
Previously under Hong Seh Motors, Tridente (pronounced tree-dent-tay), a subsidiary of Komoco Holdings, will now take over the distribution rights for the brand, starting first with launching a new showroom and service centre at 30 Leng Kee Road, beside the current Ferrari dealership.
The new space includes 7,000sq-ft dedicated to the showroom. It sports a clean, modern look with touches of blue and grey, and decked with top-of-the-range Italian furniture from Poltrona Frau. The latest MY2017 range of Maseratis, which includes the flagship Quattroporte sedan, Ghibli compact sedan and Levante SUV, will be on display in the space.
Furthermore, a workshop area of 14,000sq-ft has also been set aside for integrated sales and after-sales service to owners, offered for the first time in Singapore. The workshop will be equipped to accommodate up to 20 cars with a total of 18 work bays when at full capacity.
“Komoco Holdings has many years of experience in the local automotive industry and we believe this partnership will make the Maserati brand stronger and more in line with its global positioning for a higher satisfaction of our existing and future customers,” says Amaury La Fonta, general manager of Maserati South East Asia Pacific.
“Being the new importer for Maserati in Singapore is a significant milestone for the company,” Teo Hock Seng, managing director of Komoco Holdings, says. “We hope that our commitment to the business, offering an integrated showroom and after-sales experience in one location, provides the principal and existing owners with the reassurance that we will continue to run the business with the same personal touch that goes into every element of the brand.”
