The Range Rover celebrates its 50th birthday this year and what better way to commemorate the occasion than to unveil a limited-edition model of this iconic, luxury SUV.
Based on the luxuriously appointed Autobiography, the Range Rover Fifty features several bespoke exterior accents in Auric Atlas as well as two unique 22-inch wheel designs. A “Fifty” script created personally by Prof Gerry McGovern OBE, Land Rover’s Chief Creative Officer, will appear on the exterior of the vehicle and throughout the interior.
The Range Rover Fifty will be available in four colours as well as both standard and long wheelbase variants. In extremely limited numbers, buyers can also choose one of three Heritage exterior solid paints reproduced from the original paint palette – Tuscan Blue, Bahama Gold and Davos White. A range of drivetrain options will be available including a plug-in hybrid P400e version.
The aptly named Range Rover Fifty will be restricted to just 1970 vehicles globally in recognition of the year the original was introduced. We have good news – Wearnes Automotive plans to bring in two units of this special model. Now in its fourth generation, over a million Range Rover SUVs have been sold in its lifetime.
