For spring/summer 2021, Fendi unveiled new bright and playful handbags made from recycled plastic.
Channelling the plastic baskets of the ‘90s, the new bag is designed with one main net-like compartment, finished with gold-coloured hardware and embellished with a tone-on-tone embossed leather Fendi stamp.
Acting as part of Silvia Venturini Fendi’s final collection for the house, the basket bags come in two size options and crafted from 100% recycled plastic to keep the brand’s sustainability efforts at helm. The material is directly sourced from Fendi’s own factory and includes the excess from the creation of the house’s sneakers and other footwear.
The bags sport a simple yet playful aesthetic and arrives in a range of colours such as orange, pink, white and light blue, and is available this April in Fendi’s boutiques and online.
