The shoes drop on NET-A-PORTER on October 7, 2019 and at JIMMYCHOO.com and select stores from October 8. 2019.You don’t need a red carpet to step out in style thanks to Jimmy Choo and Net-A-Porter. The luxury accessories label and e-commerce giant have teamed up for the first time for a 13-piece capsule collection. The range is inspired by red carpet dressing, and the power and glamour that the women walking on it exude.
Jimmy Choo has long been a stalwart of the red carpet, having dressed the feet of the well-heeled for 23 years. In 1996, the label made its first glamour debut on Princess Diana at a gala event. Decades later, it continues its legacy under Creative Director Sandra Choi, the niece to Jimmy Choo himself. Describing Jimmy Choo as the “authority on celebrity dressing”, Net-A-Porter says in a statement that “Creative Director Sandra Choi always delivers the ultimate statement heel for after hours”.
“Each style has a femininity, seductiveness and the finesse of couture. The shoes are highlighted with lace, diamantes and exaggerated bows for added glamour but just enough to complement an outfit and not take over.”
The designs are inspired by some of the most iconic Jimmy Choo ones to walk the carpet. All are made in luxurious fabrics, and feature glamourous embroidery. Click through the gallery to see the shoes up-close.
