Those Longchamp snazzy knee-length boots strutting on the Autumn/Winter 2020 runway have arrived in boutiques.
The leather boots in various colours sport two looks. One version dazzles with ’70s charm featuring the embellishment of a chain and an oversized ball-shaped bauble (below, first image). Another takes its style cues from the equestrian world with a racing-style side stripe that cleverly elongates your legs (below, second image).
But that’s not all the new-season offerings in Longchamp’s shoe department. Ever imagined how the Le Pliage looks as a shoe? Since its conception 27 years ago, Longchamp’s iconic nylon tote with leather top handles has been reinvented into many incarnations, among which are the briefcase, the backpack, and the coin purse. Last season, Longchamp shrunk the origami-inspired foldable bag into a chic mini.
This season, the maison’s next step in the evolution has reinvented the iconic origami-inspired foldable bag into tennis shoe, starring Le Pliage’s distinctive Russian leather heel tab with a sophisticated gold-tone snap. There’s the everyday rendition in classic white leather and luxe interpretations in suede, which comes in black, blue, and mahogany.
While Longchamp offers home delivery services for online orders (email aftersales@longchamp.com.sg for enquiries), you may prefer to try the shoes in its boutique at either ION Orchard or Paragon.
