On top of a one-night stay in a Deluxe Room at Hotel Michael or Equarius Hotel, the staycation experience also includes breakfast for two, two Universal Studios Singapore adult dated one-day tickets, retail vouchers and F&B vouchers to ensure maximum fun.

Staycation: High Tea in the Deep Sea – Auspicious Edition package

Ocean Restaurant’s underwater dining experience High Tea in the Deep Sea is back by popular demand with an Auspicious Edition that features a 12-item menu put together by Feng Shui Inn’s executive chef Li Kwok Kwong and Resorts World Sentosa’s executive pastry chef Kenny Kong. To celebrate the Year of the Tiger, the savoury bites and sweet treats are crafted with premium ingredients that carry symbolic meanings, such as steamed siew mai with abalone to represent fortune, a Canadian lobster kueh pie tee to signify luck and a refreshing imperial coconut with osmanthus and bird’s nest for flourishing relationships.

Elevate this special afternoon tea with an all-inclusive two-day-one-night staycation package at Hotel Michael or Equarius Hotel, which also comes with breakfast for two, two S.E.A. Aquarium dated one-day tickets and the Behind The Panel tour at S.E.A. Aquarium for two. Reunion: Feng Shui Inn

Newly located at Equarius Hotel, the acclaimed Chinese restaurant Feng Shui Inn is ushering in the New Year with a pop-up dinner event, A Bountiful Reunion by Feng Shui Inn, featuring lavish festive set menus with auspicious creations that spell abundance, prosperity and wellness. Highlights include a yu sheng with smoked salmon, amber walnut, crystal iceplant and yuzu dressing, irresistible crispy suckling pig and wok-fried glutinous rice with Chinese sausage. Splendid spreads aside, the beautiful rainforest-themed interior with a tranquil ambience presents a welcome respite from the city’s buzz.

Reunion: Syun

Syun’s Simmered Whole Abalone with Kabura Turnip

The expression “年年有余” (pronounced “nian nian you yu”) is commonly used during Chinese New Year to wish others a year of abundance and surplus. Syun, known for its contemporary “nouvelle” Japanese cuisine, is taking the traditional greeting very seriously with a festive menu full of exquisite seafood. Your reunion feast begins with the Syun style special yu sheng featuring fresh seasonal fish from Toyosu Market and zesty sesame ponzu sauce, followed by your choice of mains, which includes luxurious dishes like simmered whole abalone with kabura turnip and a flavourful sauteed spiny lobster with creamy yuzu butter uni sauce.

Reunion: Osia Steak and Seafood Grill

Osia Steak and Seafood Grill’s Grilled Turbot

Go off the beaten path this year with a non-Chinese reunion lunch or dinner. While unconventional, Osia Steak and Seafood Grill’s Lunar New Year spread comprises dishes that also herald prosperity, abundance and auspiciousness, like the Big Fish sharing platters featuring fresh whole fish grilled on lava stone or roasted in a stone hearth oven. Couples can consider the deep and smoky grilled Chatham Island blue cod with roasted butternut and watercress salad, or the grilled turbot with bacon ratte potato, rocket salad and béarnaise sauce. The oven-roasted one-kg Australian wild john dory with grilled lemon, green beans and chimichurri is great for sharing amongst a larger group.

Make your bookings at Resorts World Sentosa’s website or email Phone reservations can also be made to (65) 6577 6688.

Takeaway: Feng Shui Inn

Complete your at-home reunion table with the restaurant’s extravagant pen cai and yu sheng plates, which come with Hokkaido scallops with black truffle sauce or lobster and smoked salmon with yuzu sauce.

Gifting: Hampers

Feng Shui Inn’s Premium Hamper

Feng Shui Inn also has you covered for hamper gifting as well with a Deluxe and a Premium edition. The former is filled with delicacies like an “Emperor” 3-head braised abalone, bird’s nest with ginseng, hashima, fish maw, chicken essence, as well as a Santa Margherita Prosecco and a Rawson’s Retreat Private Release Shiraz Cabernet. The Premium Hamper is even more decadent with a 2-head Pacific abalone, a 10-head abalone, bird’s nest, dried Hokkaido scallops, Ningxia wolfberries, American wild ginseng, the award-winning Dalmore 12-years-old single malt Scotch whisky and a bottle of Clarendelle Rouge by Haut Brion.
