1. Trapizza
Great for: Breezy Italian seaside vibes
After a six-month renovation, Trapizza, a casual Italian eatery, reopened its doors to the public in May. Its strategic location on Siloso Beach — a five minute walk from Shangri-La’s Rasa Sentosa Resort & Spa — offers a relaxing seaside vibe. Bask in the cooling sea breezes while taking in magnificent panoramic views of the beach from its main dining area, which sits under a canopy outdoors, or from the bar counter.

Following the transformation, Trapizza now has more to appeal to guests. A fully air-conditioned private dining room for 16 persons is available for intimate gatherings. Young diners will also be entertained, thanks to a new water play area, a colouring corner and a play zone. For beachgoers, the restaurant offers takeaway items including popsicles, salads and panini for a quick yet satisfying bite.
The menu has been refreshed and enhanced, with Chef Alessandro Delle Cave helming the kitchen together with Chef Chang Siang Meng. Mainstays include its wood-fired thin-crust pizzas, pastas and desserts, with new highlights such as Foie Gras Orecchiette, Truffle Pappardelle, Wagyu Beef Burger, Crispy Fried Veal Milanese and Calzone. Its beverage list has also expanded to include creative interpretations of classic cocktails — Pizzatini incorporates pizza flavours and toppings into martinis; while Cake on a Shake features slices of cake on milkshakes.
2. Panamericana
Great for: Good ol’ American grilled meats and more
Panamericana is the ultimate casual Bar & Grill, which opened its door in April, welcoming foodies from all around the world. It brings to life mouth-watering fare from the rich diversity of cultures and cuisines found in the 14 countries along the Pan-American Highway that stretches through the North, Central and South Americas. Says owner Julian Serna, “I wanted to not only delve into the region of my heritage, but also to create a fun and approachable modern take on the flavours and cuisines.”
Heading up the kitchen at Panamericana is Executive Chef Mathew Woon, who has designed the menu to celebrate the diverse cuisines and produce of the Americas. Lamb, rubbed with rosemary and thyme, is grilled to a perfect pink; Trout is baked in a salted crust for flavourful goodness teased with a tangy tomatillo salsa verde; while whole Colombian Chicken is glazed with chilli and slow-cooked on low heat to retain its juicy tenderness.
Spanning 6,000sqft, Panamericana sits on a prime spot in Sentosa Golf Club, set against a sweeping view of the South China Sea. Indulge in its signature cocktails, share serves and boozy concoctions accompanied by breathtaking sea views and lush tropical greenery. It is the only Bar & Grill in Singapore that houses an Argentinian Asador where whole meats are grilled in plain view, which is bound to excite diners both young and old.
3. Dusk Restaurant & Bar
Great for: Delightfully European fare at 100m above sea level
Revel in the majestic sunset as you bite into sumptuous European tapas on a hilltop at the newly opened Dusk Restaurant & Bar. Set 100m above sea level at Faber Peak Singapore, it has welcomed visitors since December last year, with al fresco views of Sentosa’s lush green landscape and of course, splendid sunsets, as its name suggests.
Conceived to appeal to guests seeking “new experiences that can be shared with friends and loved ones”, the restaurant also offers a bird’s-eye view of the Harbourfront area. Its interiors have been designed to create a convivial atmosphere — using wood and a monochromatic palette, along with neon art pieces and embellished floor art — making the space great for communal dining.
The menu, created entirely by Executive Chef Kenny Yeo, offers European cuisine from across Spain, Italy, France and Germany, but with an Asian element. It includes dishes such as Tiger Prawn Capellini tossed in lobster infused oil and Japanese seaweed, and Premium Sea Scallops with Ikura. For guests who want to kick back after a long day, the bar offers a wide range of wines, including red, white and sparkling, as well as cocktails that feature the trendy Nitro-frosting preparation technique.
