The norm that was sipping on a beer or two with friends into the night must now be temporarily halted, which means bars and restaurants are forced to forfeit the extra earnings they would’ve gotten from liquor sales previously. So if diners can’t have their drinks late at night, maybe it’s time to channel that energy into some day-time tipples. The St. Regis’ much-coveted Sunday bubbly brunch experience is back again, this time with a refreshed menu. Head under the sea with a whole assortment of fresh oceanic catches which include the Alaskan king crab, French oysters, Manila clams, shrimps and mussels. For starters, feast on dishes like the Black Truffle Macaroni Gratin, and Grilled Boston Lobster doused in garlic parsley butter before digging into your mains. From seared beef tenderloin to pan-seared toothfish options, you’ll be stuffed even before you leave.
The house champagne to wash the meal down with is the Champagne Barons de Rothschild Brut, a bubbly blend of prized Chardonnay and Pinot Noirs from the best crus of Cote des Blancs and Montagne de Reims in the Champagne region. It plays host to invigorating notes of pear, almonds and fresh hazelnuts, making it the perfect brunch accompaniment for any diner. The St. Regis’ Sunday brunch is available from 12 noon to two in the afternoon.
The iconic Sunday Champagne Brunch from Lavo Italian Restaurant & Rooftop Bar is back. Now served a la carte, the lavish spread includes favourites like the Truffled Crab Salad, Wagyu Meatball pizza and Prime Hanger Steak, together with free-flow Veuve Clicquot champagne, speciality cocktails and other beverages to make your weekend a boozy one for sure. Don’t forget to look out the windows, for the 180-degree view of the city is definitely one of the highlights while dining at Lavo Singapore.
Make the most out of your weekend with the Free Flow Brunch at Da Paolo Dempsey Restaurant & Bar. The newly launched bubbly brunch comes with two options for diners to choose from: the Campari Peroni Brunch and Ferrari Brunch. While the former features classics like the Americano, Aperol Spritz, Peroni Sbagliato, Peroni Spritz, and Peroni Beer, the latter offers the best of both worlds: Ferrari Brut as well as selections from the Campari Peroni brunch.
Top that off with cafe classics like the Umami Mushroom Toast, Spicy Italian Shakshouka and Burrata Bruschetta and you’ll be all set for the weekend. The Free Flow Brunch at Da Paolo Dempsey Restaurant & Bar runs on weekends and public holidays, from 11.30 am to five in the evening.
What sets Madame Fan apart from the other options on this list is their choice of food. And by food, we mean a whole range of dim sum delights to sip on your cocktails with. Before you dig into their bottomless buffet (served a la carte now), dig into a Mini Buddha Jumps Over The Wall, served with compliments from the Chef. We may not be able to head to Spain (or anywhere, really) anytime soon, but thankfully for us, Singapore is home to many restaurants that serve mouthwatering menus of authentic dishes from all over the world. Pura Brasa, a diner that hails from Spain, set up its first international outpost in Singapore two years ago.
