If a languid afternoon of tea and dainty bites is more up mum’s alley, pamper her with the Marmalade Pantry’s weekend afternoon tea ($54++ for two diners), which features a two-tier set laden with goodies such as roast beef sandwiches, chilli crab mantou, cupcakes, and delightfully crumbly buttermilk scones with clotted cream, strawberry preserve and orange marmalade.
Exclusive to Mastercard holders, the restaurant has also introduced a Royal Afternoon Tea Set ($80++ for three diners), an amped up version that comes with an additional pasta or noodle dish. For the latter, choose from options such as truffle mushroom risotto, Hokkien noodles, or — our recommendation — perfectly al dente linguine topped with juicy seared scallops and prawns. The set also includes two types of Monogram Tea and three glasses of De Bortoli Emeri Pink Moscato sparkling wine.
Available only at The Marmalade Pantry’s Downtown and Novena outlets from 1 to 2 May and 8 to 9 May for dine-in from 11:30AM to 5PM.
