These are tough times for many industries including the global food industry. Locally, the initiatives are coming up fast and furious from the F&B sector, with platforms such as myTreat, and most recently, The Dine In Movement. This platform was created by Singaporean hospitality group The Dandy Collection.
With businesses going out of their way with promos and exclusive takeaway or delivery menus, options for a great meal now come in a mind-boggling array. To prevent the voices of these restaurants from drowning out, The Dine In Movement keeps your experience of picking a restaurant streamlined by putting them all on a single platform. The core of The Dine In Movement is that it is a delivery and takeaway platform featuring some of Singapore’s most talked-about restaurants and bars.
Currently, it has 42 restaurants and bars under its umbrella, with a few more slated to join. As it is strictly 100 percent zero profit, it does not charge its members fees. “We wanted to create a single platform for diners to find options that fit their tastes as well as explore new venues. At the same time, we believe that a rising tide raises all ships.
By banding together with like-minded operators like this, we are all able to amplify our voices to reach beyond our own customer base,” said Michael Goodman, Co-Founder of The Dandy Collection. The list of participating restaurants include Asia’s best restaurant Odette, One-Michelin-starred Burnt Ends, Summerlong, Cicheti, and Esquina.
