Asia’s Best Bar has rolled out the first launch of its Collaboration Series.
Just a month after clinching the title of Asia’s Best Bar, Jigger & Pony has kicked off a new programme that highlights industry leaders and craftsmen outside of the cocktail world. The first initiative is a cocktail and chocolate pairing with Rémy Martin and local pastry chef Janice Wong.
The limited edition package includes a 450ml bottle of Shiraz Manhattan created by the Jigger & Pony team with a label designed by Singaporean artist Samantha Kwan. It’s concocted with Rémy Martin VSOP Cognac, Cinzano Rosso vermouth, shiraz essence and amaretto. A lighter take on the classic Manhattan, the slight sweetness and bitter aftertaste calls for the sugary goodness of Janice Wong’s chocolates.
Pop a square into your mouth and sip on your cocktail for an exciting combination. The five treats are Passionfruit Calamansi Cointreau, Maple Cinzano Bianco, Almond Coffee Grappa and Whisky Orange, and Cinnamon Rum. Each contains different levels of cacao and alcohol.
