Bring Singapore’s cocktail culture into your home.
We know we’ve waxed lyrical about takeaway tipples and libations you can have delivered to your home. But here comes an exciting launch in the local bar scene: Singapore Cocktail Festival (SGCF) at Home. This comes ahead of the festival that’s set to take place from 23 to 30 October 2020.
Here’s what you can look forward to.
As part of the series, participating bars will put up a signature cocktail, either as an original creation or derived from their menus. These are themed around positivity and unity, to collectively inspire the drink establishments and community in these difficult times. Some highlights include The Old Man Singapore‘s The Sun also Rises made with coconut oil fat-washed applejack, curry leaf infused Bulldog gin and sweet vermouth sous-vide pandan leaf; and Jigger & Pony’s Madame President, which is a Singaporean riff on the Negroni.
Other participating bars include Cool Cats, Manhattan, Publico, 79 After Dark Restaurant, Ah Sam Cold Drink Store, Caffe Fernet Employees Only Singapore, Fat Prince, Gibson, Komyuniti, Live Twice, Summerlong, Super Loco Customs House, Tippling Club, Writers Bar, Woo Bar and more.
Another key highlight to look forward to is cocktail-making workshops, which will be available from 16 May 2020. Head here for more details.
