A perfect Sunday afternoon calls for some leisurely lounging, while savouring delicious delicacies over refreshing tipples. With this delightful idea in mind, Jam at Siri House has launched a new weekly Sunday Brunch selection of savoury, spicy and sweet comfort fare, as well as daytime summery drinks. Consider it your invitation to lay in late and show up at will as the multi-concept foodies heaven in Dempsey Hill serves late into the afternoon.

The new a la carte Sunday menu is designed to surprise you. Expect a range of brunch staples, such as eggs, pancakes and French toasts, infused with punchy Asian flavours. ‘Fried Eggs’, for instance, comes as a Thai-style omelette, with roast pork and a jaew dressing of minced lemongrass, fish sauce, lime juice and chilli. The dish of ‘Bakini’ is a reinterpretation of the bikini sandwich, where thick-cut, honey-glazed Bak Kwa are grilled, before being sandwiched in milk bread with a trio of cheeses.
Other savoury signatures include the ‘Siri House Salad’ and chargrilled ‘Prawns’, served with belacan crustacean sauce and mango pomelo salsa. The brunch selection goes well with three refreshing cocktails infused with fresh fruits and herbs, namely the ‘Summer Fizz’, ‘Basil Tart’ and ‘Scotch and Honey’.

For those with a sweet tooth, there’s the ‘Ovaltine Pancakes’—butter pancakes with Ovaltine biscuit crumb and Carnation hazelnut brittle, drizzled with everybody’s favourite childhood drink, Milo and Nutella ganache. The highlight, though, is Jam’s rendition of a popular local dessert called the ‘Tau Huay’. In this explosive version, a set coconut cream is paired with avocado and fresh mango, with a drizzle of balsamic vinegar.

Besides the weekly brunch menu, a series of brunch parties with different themes and food, is also on the cards in the coming months. For reservations, visit www.sirihouse.com
