As the Managing Director of Diageo Moët Hennessy Thailand, Alberto Ibeas brings broad functional and regional experience to his role, and is focused on driving sustainable business growth within Thailand. The now 49-year-old Spaniard is proud to call himself a ‘Diageo man’ – where he has worked for 23 years – and admits that he loves the company’s culture, its way of working and, of course, the brands and the great people in the team. Prior to his time in Thailand, Alberto led the Diageo business in Iberia, with responsibility over Spain, Portugal, and the Canary Islands. He has also held global and regional positions with Diageo’s Treasury, Group strategy and Group Finance teams. In Bangkok he lives together with his wife Lucrecia, and their four children: Beatriz, Guillermo, Lucia, and Bee.
