Celebrity fragrances have always been a thing, and among the many things that made news at this year’s Super Bowl, one highlight that piqued our interest was the reveal of country music legend Dolly Parton’s first-ever fragrance.
Named ‘Dolly: Scent From Above’, the perfume made its debut in an advertisement set to the singer’s hit 9 to 5, which was broadcasted at the event. Presented in a lovely pink bottle, it will be officially launched in July.

Like Fame, it is produced by Gaga’s Haus Laboratories in association with American beauty company Coty, Inc.

Her success in this line has been phenomenal. According to a 2018 BBC report, the American singer-songwriter makes US$50 million every year from fragrances alone.
Her collection includes Believe, Radiance, Prerogative, Fantasy and their respective variants. Fantasy In Bloom, one of her products, was named Fragrance of the Year at the 2018 Hollywood Beauty Awards. One of its top notes is Japanese cherry blossom, inspired by cherry orchards in bloom during springtime.
