How far would you go for perfect skin? Judging by the rising number of new skincare brands and aesthetic treatments, we’d guess: Very far.
IDS Aesthetics takes the concept of caring for your skin up a notch with its new #IDServe Unlimited membership packages. Think of it as gym membership — or even a streaming service — for your skin. A monthly fee lets you have as many facials as you want.
Lest this sounds like overkill, you’ll be under the care of the IDS consultants, who will first consult with you on your skin condition. Wan says, “Our skin needs vary from month to month as we are constantly being exposed to environmental factors.” The membership allows you access to a wide range of services. “This allows the therapist to recommend what treatment is best for [you] at the point of consultation, with no restriction.”
Here’s how it works. Choose from one of two packages available — the Unlimited and Unlimited +. Both last a period of 12 months, with the latter priced higher because it also includes three extra sessions that can be shared with up to three guests a month.
There are eight facial treatments for you to choose from, targeting various concerns including pigmentation, acne-prone, sensitive and sagging skin.
One of the highly recommended treatments is the Light Cyro Treatment — it is said to lighten dark spots and tackles hyperpigmentation while nourishing the skin with a healthy dose of vitamins. Moving up the scale in intensity is the Cryo-Therapeutics treatment, which is meant to be a relief for those with hypersensitive skin, as it reduces redness, soothes irritation, and repairs with vitamins and brighteners. Those with ageing skin are recommended the Hydro-Therapeutics treatment as it targets cellular regeneration and increases collagen production to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
On a time crunch? The 50-minute Instant Power Lift and Glow uses oxygen and active vitamin serums to lift and firm skin, defining your face’s silhouette and deep cleansing pores for dewy, glowing skin. Those with sagging skin issues can look to the dual lift treatment to firm and tighten skin, giving it that coveted v-shape lift.
As skin moves through a 28- to 30-day cycle of skin cell growth and exfoliation, experts typically recommend getting a professional facial treatment once every three or four weeks. But those with more targeted skin concerns, such as frequently clogged pores, acne and pigmentation, may find it a necessary to have weekly facial treatment. To get the most out of your membership, discuss with the IDS Aesthetics consultant, or your dermatologist on a recommended facial schedule, and at-home regimens to maintain your skin condition.
