Specialty: Featuring a medley of all-time signature flavours made from seasonal ingredients, this year’s must-have includes Yam Lotus Paste and Single Egg Yolk; and the classic Assorted Nuts & Sun Dried Fruits baked mooncake packed with a wholesome blend of mixed nuts and sun dried fruits. Each mooncake also comes individually sealed and encased in a charming box.

Specialty: For this year’s celebrations, the modern Chinese restaurant is presents a tasty tribute to traditional mooncakes. Freshly baked daily, flavours to choose from include the Shanghai-style mooncake comprising a crisp and buttery white lotus paste crust with golden egg yolk; and a Teochew-style mooncake packed with smooth purple yam with a golden egg yolk centre.
Available until: 13 September at Ruyi & Lyn in Bangsar shopping Centre; as well as Yu at The Gardens Mall. Single mooncakes are priced at MYR30 each; and MYR108 for a box of four.

Specialty: The hotel’s signature Chinese restaurant Yun House is dishing out a mooncake menu ranging from time-honoured to never-seen before creations, with highlights including the Oo Long Tea and Osmanthus with Lotus Seed Paste; Pandan with Bird’s Nest; and Homemade Snow Skin Blueberry Chocolate. In conjunction with the festival, The Lounge is tweaking its afternoon tea menu at The Lounge for a limited time only, mooncakes included.

Specialty: The hotel presents an incredibly extensive menu of handcrafted mooncakes this year, and we think the best of the best goes to the Dragon Fruit with Blueberry Truffle. Its snow skin selection is a delight with flavours like Musang King wrapped in a pillow-light snow skin, Black Charcoal with a generous filling of cheese, the Coffee Paste with rich Butter Cream, and Pumpkin with a mild touch of Chocolate Truffle.
