It’s been a year and a half since Riccardo Tisci has taken the reign at Burberry and put forward his revolutionary vision of the brand. With new creative direction comes new vision for the retail space, which is reflected in the brand’s new store at Central Embassy — the first of its kind in Southeast Asia to showcase Riccardo Tisci’s new creative concept for the British fashion house.
Welcoming fans and customers last week, the latest Burberry boutique signalled a big celebration for the brand. The opening party, held last Friday, drew in a huge crowd of Burberry’s die-hard customers as well as an army of superstars: Palitchoke Ayanaputra, Kritsanapoom Pibunsonggram, Kanyawee Songmuang, Lapat Ngamchaweng, Sivakorn Adulsuttikul, Jackrin Kungwankiatichai, Tanapon Sukhumpantanasan, Rathavit Kijworaluk, Paris Intarakomalyasut, Chonlathorn Kongyingyong, Wongravee Nateetorn, Warisara Yu, Nathaphon Temirak, Sara Legge, Ploi Horwang, Naphat Siangsomboon and Gina Virahyah.
High-profile guests aside, Burberry Central Embassy kick-starts a new creative era for the brand. Unveiling a colour palette of white and pistachio complimented by fixtures and plinths constructed in a variety of materials and textures, from plywood to mirror and high-gloss finishes.
