Marking 125 years of success, Kempinski Hotels hosted a stunning party of sight, sound, and taste at Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok, to commemorate the latest milestone of the globally-renowned luxury hotel group.
Back in 1897, Kempinski Hotels started from truly humble beginnings as a simple family-run business. Fast forward to today, over a century later, and the name has grown to represent a global collection of 80 luxury hotels and residences, with a footprint in 34 countries. As the globally recognised luxury hotel chain rings in its 125th anniversary, a celebratory party was hosted at the Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok, bringing together Bangkok-based celebrities, fans and friends of the brand.
The party took place in Sindhorn Kempinski’s hotel lobby — a lobby that, fun fact, recently won the Best International Hotel Lobby Interior by International Property Awards. Distinguished personalities, celebrities, and media veterans were spotted enjoying delectable bites and free-flow drinks, to commemorate the spectacular affair.
The party began with a digital mapping presentation, held in the gardens. This showcased Kempinski Hotels’ remarkable journey from its roots, projected onto the 15-metre-high, half-domed ceiling of the hotels’ portico. Guests were given insight into how Kempinski Hotels managed to grow into Europe’s oldest luxury hotel group, with a portfolio that ranges from historic palace to modern design hotels, each one revered for outstanding service and excellent facilities.
After the presentation was over, guests continued to enjoy the evening, with a live jazz performance by talented duo Toby & Joy, who regulars at the Firefly Bar will recognise for their nightly sessions every Wednesday to Saturday. The event finally came to a buzzing finale with a set spun by DJ Karn, as guests danced the night away amidst the hotel’s beautiful surroundings.
