For those who value the wonders of naps, a good night’s sleep, or just well-being in general, here’s something to eye. Bangkok’s mattress scene is set to welcome a new game-changer, as Luxury Living International (Thailand) — the sole distributor of Hilker Mattresses — announces a successful new partnership with Motif, which many will recognise as the country’s leading name in stylish luxury furniture.
In a special event aptly titled ‘It All Started With a Dream’, prominent guests gathered at Motif’s flagship at Central Embassy to experience first-hand the innovative products from the German brand. Here’s our Prestige Recap of what took place.
The Mattresses: What’s the Craze
A name with a long-standing legacy, the Hilker brand has been reputed as Germany’s top producer of luxury mattresses for the past 130 years. With cutting-edge technology — the four-layered 10mm titanium pocket coils add up to beyond 8000 pieces, which is a record that far exceeds other brands — these mattresses are set to offer a sleeping experience of ultimate comfort. Not only that, but the products also feature top-quality 100% Belgian Natural Latex for breathable air circulation, helping to reduce the risk of allergy for even the most sensitive of sleepers.
The Event: What Took Place?
Ernst Hilker, part of the fourth generation of the Hilker family, flew in especially from Germany for the event. There, he gave an inspiring speech on the Hilker brand philosophy, the importance of sleep, and how to choose the right mattress. Luxury Living International (Thailand)’s Chief Creative Officer also gave a thank you speech, expressing appreciation towards Motif and Akarat Vanarat for the notable partnership, while also touching upon Hilker’s tradition and why the products will take Thailand’s mattress scene to the next level.
