Back

And just like that, we’ve managed to ease ourselves into August — with the help of a much-awaited long weekend. As Thailand spent the last few days celebrating the auspicious birthday anniversary of His Majesty the King, the past weekend has been one of appreciation, reflection, and for many of us, also one of rest. Which also means that most of us by now should be back at our daily schedules, ready to take on the next month with new vigour. Making the most of this newly regained energy, we’ve helped to round up some of the best things to do in Bangkok this week, to make your first few August days just a little more special.

A fitting start to what is proving to be a rather robust month, we see quite a lot of exciting happenings taking place in the nightlife scene this week. On the concerts front, indie pop fans can rejoice as Lany makes yet another comeback — tickets are running out fast, so be sure to book as soon as possible. There’s also a party taking place at Above 11, as the ring in their — now this is a little hard to believe — 7th anniversary. Has it already been so long? Those who enjoy out-of-the box experiences shouldn’t miss out on the silent disco at Lido, and there will also be a spectacular ‘Top of the Life Experience’ event taking place that should not be missed! Scroll to see your plans!
