After a decade of political upheaval and social malaise, things have been rocky for a lot of industries, and Thailand’s art scene is no exception. As things are beginning — fingers crossed! — to settle, we’re finally starting to see the art industry pick up, with more opportunities and interest in local artists. As we roundup the best happenings in the city on a weekly basis, we’re happy to see increasingly interesting art events, and a greater appreciation for the creative scene.
Among the exciting art-related happenings, this week we see the sixth comeback of Hotel Art Fair — Farmgroup’s project that brings together artists and galleries both local and international for a two-day exhibition at a hotel. If the event triggers the inner creative in you, feel free to continue your art-inspired journey by checking out the other exhibitions taking place.

On a different note, resident gourmets also have something saucy to mark on their calendars, as Haoma welcomes chefs from Bali’s Apéritif Restaurant & Bar for a one-of-a-kind four hands dinner. If you happen to be more the stay-in type, worry not — you can set aside time to get a bit of redecorating done this week as Chanintr hosts a massive summer sale. Scroll to see your plans for the week!
