Another week, another COVID-19 update. While such a reality can come across rather frightening, let us not get too caught up in panic, but rather take this time in remaining vigilant in keeping ourselves safe, hygienic, and healthy — as well as, of course, playing our part in preventing the spread by being disciplined in our use of face masks and hand sanitisers when necessary. Events-wise, though the city has been quieter these past months, naturally, things never really stop in Bangkok city.

Top on our list is the return of the city’s coolest, and most highly-anticipated food fest — that’s right, Mad Face Food Week 2020 is here! With a little something for everyone, perhaps this is exactly the kind of exuberant fun we need to cheer us up. Also on the list are several art exhibitions, along with yet another wedding festival for those planning to tie the knot soon. Scroll to see your plans!

WINE & DINE — Guess what, Bangkok’s coolest food fest, aka Mad Face Food Week, is back! For 2020, the theme is ‘Last Meal on Earth’, and with COVID19 on the rise — not to mention PM2.5 still at large — the theme is cheekily rather fitting. Taking place once again at Sermsuk Warehouse, expect to indulge away till midnight on some of the city’s best delicacies. Whether you’re looking for sweet and sauce-laden, or some salty, soupy and deep-fried goodness, or perhaps the ideal acai bowl, there’s something for everyone here — 50 different vendors, to be exact, each serving their version of the best doom’s day dish. Definitely one you don’t want to miss this week!

THB100 (comes with a free drink) for entry. March 13 – 15, 2020. Sermsuk Warehouse. To get your tickets or find out more, visit
