Nearing the second half of May, Bangkok never ceases to be anything short of exciting. While we’re finally beginning to see the hint of a breeze — thank goodness those forty degree days are behind us! — let’s not be too joyous too soon, as the nicer weather is definitely a short lived burst of relief before we go full-on monsoon. To make the most of that in-between gap when being outside feels just right, we’ve got a series of fun happenings in store to get you out and about! Among the list of best things to do this week is an exclusive bridal showcase, a film screening at River City Bangkok, and a two day event of international cultural performances at Iconsiam. Scroll to see your plans!

WINE & DINE — Over at Rossini’s, executive chef Gaetano Palumbo has created a selection of delectable dishes, to be enjoyed with Primosic wines from Collio in Italy’s northeast region. Plates range from white asparagus and red prawns in beer mustard sauce, served with Primosic Murno Pinot Grigio Collio Friuli Venezia Giulia 2016, to a fascinating serving of white asparagus ice cream with black truffle and pollen, complemented by an Italian Martini.

THB3,950++ per person for the Primosic Wine Dinner (five courses with full wine pairing of six wines). May 20-26, 2019. Rossini’s, Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit. To reserve your seats or find out more, call 0 2649 8364, or visit the official Facebook event page.
