Marking the return of high society events, Beauty Gems hosted an exclusive ‘Secret Diamond Garden’ event, unveiling their new Diamond Mask.
July kicked off to fresh beginnings, as Beauty Gems ushered in the return of Bangkok’s high society events, with a grand affair — ‘The Secret Diamond Garden’. Set in the Event Hall on the third floor of Central Chidlom, the entire space was fabulously decked out to resemble a secret garden, with lush flora and fauna placed throughout.
World-class jewellery products from Thai jewellers and, of course, Beauty Gems, were displayed in a dazzling exhibition-style layout. The highlight of the event, however, was definitely the revealing of ‘The Diamond Mask’ — a stunning collection of face masks designed by skilful jewellers in the country, to fit with these “new normal” times. From what took place, to who was in attendance, here’s our Prestige Recap of the affair.
The Diamond Masks: What’s the Hype?
According to Suriyon Sriorathaikul, the CEO of Beauty Gems Co., Ltd, the event was aimed towards boosting Thailand’s economy post-pandemic, promoting Thailand’s jewellery industry, as well as raising the potential of Thai jewellers to world-class standards. Following this, the country’s most skilled jewellers came together to create the event’s highlight — “the diamond mask”, face masks made using diamonds and eight precious jewels. Inspired by the new normal, the designs remind us that mask wearers don’t need to compromise on their style and shine.
There are eight different designs available, with prices ranging from THB10 million onwards:
The Event: What Went Down?
Attendees got the opportunity to stroll casually through the garden-like space, marvelling at the beautiful bejewelled creations while they enjoyed refreshing drinks and small bites. The event kicked off with an official opening speech by Suriyon Sriorathaikul, followed by a striking fashion show to reveal each mask design.
Beauty Gems also announced their new “Term-Fun-Pun-Suk” project, which was inspired by a convenience store in Ekkamai that was distributing necessities to the public every week. Under the project, Beauty Gems aims to spread happiness by sponsoring two diamond rings to medical staff as appreciation for their devotion and sacrifice during the pandemic. Another two rings will also be given to people who were affected by the pandemic.
Who Was There?
The event was warmly attended by high-society faces, famous celebrities, and longtime friends of the brand. Spotted in the crowd were high-profile individuals including Khunying Kingkaew Uathavikul, Jarin Sumanont, Sumalee Srisupornwanich, and more.
