With an unrelenting type of love in the air and Valentine’s Day fast approaching – despite Bangkok’s pollution and this devastating corona virus breakout we hope you are protecting yourselves from! – we thought it necessary to catch up with some of our favourite celebs to find out what they’ll be hoping for come February 14th. So we decided to speak to Pitcha “Maye” Thanalongkorn, the third generation member of her family’s business, Thailand’s most famous and widely adored lingerie brand, Sabina.
The branded wear is a staple in every Thai and local woman’s closet, Valentine’s Day or not. Maye is London-educated, well-travelled, digitally savvy and the chief marketing officer for Sabina. Right now she’s getting ready to launch something new for Sabina expected at the beginning of March, hint: they’ll be an online film teaser coming up soon! Alongside that she continually throws herself into many women-focused charitable causes, the most poignant being her work with breast cancer survivors. How does a woman as well-rounded as this envision her Valentine’s Day?
Let’s find out, shall we?
“I would be happy being anywhere with my love on Valentine’s Day… but if I needed to pick just one romantic destination, I would say it would have to be Venice!”
“I’d say three courses of a delicious and home-cooked meal made by him.”
“My dream gift would be a stunning piece of jewellery or a cool work of art… or both! And of course, lots and lots of flowers! He definitely shouldn’t forget the flowers!”
“I’d love a surprise sunset boat ride to an exotic island somewhere… that would be the most romantic way to my heart.”
