With an unrelenting type of love in the air and Valentine’s Day fast approaching – despite Bangkok’s pollution and this awful corona virus breakout we hope you are protecting yourselves from – we thought it necessary to catch up with some of our favourite celebs to find out what they’ll be hoping for come February 14th. And of course, first on our list was Srei Vacharaphol, the lady of the moment and famed fashionista, YouTuber and now script-writer and producer (she’s helping her mother, former actress Oraphan Vacharaphol and owner of Polyplus
Entertainment). We sat down with the daughter of Thairath to find out what her dream Valentine’s Day date would entail. She of course couldn’t stop talking about her darling hotelier beau, Pongvarut “Pai” Pangsrivongse and had us swooning over their super passionate romance. Find out more in this exclusive interview!
The Place
“Probably Cape Fahn, Pai’s private island resort near Koh Samui, because we had such great memories there. We’ve been there many times and had such fun together. But, you know, ever since we’ve been dating, I kind of feel like I can be anywhere with him and it would be magical, just as long as I’m with him. We could be at home watching TV, or eating street food somewhere… Maybe I am not as romantic as I used to be in high school.
Or maybe Srei is just really in love!? Next question…”
The Food
“If it’s at Cape Fahn, we’d be at the new restaurant, helmed by the new Australian chef, David Thompson. There is some gorgeous and authentic southern food there that Pai and I both enjoy. Super spicy, like our relationship… with all the fresh and right ingredients. Passionate and extreme. That’s us!”
The Present
“I don’t know, I’ve actually never thought of that. Maybe Pai could write me a long letter… or a poem, because he’s so poetic. Anything that Pai gifts me I would absolutely love.”
The Surprise
“Hmm, I’m not sure… if I thought about it, then it wouldn’t be a surprise! I’ll pass on this question and just wait to be surprised.”
Stay tuned for all that’s happening with Srei by following her on her Instagram account at IG @sreivphol. As someone who loves writing, she’s still planning to write some columns for her dad before she replaces him as editor-in-chief of Thairath one day. She’s also got a cosmetics line coming out before the end of 2020, details of which she won’t be revealing just yet.
