40 Under 40: Pumin “Louie” Yuvacharuskul

Co-founder and CEO, Eatigo (Thailand)

Pumin, or “Louie” as he is known, demonstrated his chops as an entrepreneur in 2017, as Eatigo expanded into multiple markets, including India – becoming a formidable digital force in the online dining service sector. Currently, the application takes the spot of number one dining app in seven countries in Asia, with further expansion into Korea and smaller cities in the works.

On what the CEO has achieved so far, Louie says, “As an entrepreneur, we don’t often look back and there’s really no time for you to enjoy your success. I don’t think any good entrepreneur would ever be quite content with what they achieved so far because when you are, it will make you stop moving. I’m happy with getting this far, but we know there’s a lot to be done so there isn’t a finish line for me at the moment.”

To attain success, the co-founder reveals that setting goals is not the only way to go about it. “What I found out is that if you set a target that is hard and unachievable, once you hit it, there is nothing left for you to do. If you set a goal that’s too close, the passion would die down if it’s too easy. I’m approaching things a bit differently, and now I just want to focus on growing the company as much as possible and seeing where it takes us.”
